Barbecues are in full swing. Can you imagine a barbecue without quality wine? We certainly can't! All kinds of wine can be enjoyed with barbecue.
The most common white meat we grill is chicken. Here we definitely recommend well-chilled white wines. If you choose semi-dry, you will avoid the wine overpowering the taste of the meat. You will do well to reach for, for example, Veltliner or Chardonnay .
If you've grilled fish, you can't go wrong with a Pinot Grigio or white . We also recommend white wine with grilled vegetables.
Slovaks also like to grill steaks and hamburgers. These are red meats that are clearly paired with red wines . For fatty meats, choose young red wines, and for leaner meats, choose mature red wines with a strong flavor.
In any case, choose wines for your barbecue that you and your guests will enjoy. For example, I had our high-quality white Pinot Gris Exclusive with a beef steak the other day and nothing special happened. On the contrary, I enjoyed it like never before 😊
