AWC Vienna 2026: eight medals for Villa Vino Rača
Villa Vino Rača received three gold and five silver medals at AWC Vienna 2026. Grand Vin Dunaj 2021 earned the highest score among these eight wines, taking gold with 92.7 points. The awarded Slovak wines include reds, whites and rosés from the winery in Rača, Bratislava.
The other gold medals went to Grand Vin Pinot Gris 2024 with 90.3 points and Imperial Blaufränkisch rosé 2025 with 91.5 points. All eight results appear in the official AWC Vienna results for Villa Vino Rača.

How AWC Vienna awards its medals
An international jury assesses the wines anonymously in individual tasting booths, using a 100-point scale. Gold requires at least 90 points. Silver is awarded for scores from 88 to 89.9 points. These are the criteria published by the AWC Vienna organiser.
Dunaj and other Slovak wines from Rača
Dunaj is a Slovak grape variety used by Villa Vino Rača in both varietal wines and blends. The article on Red Cuvée Trilógia explains its combination with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
